About your Role:
As aPeer Support Specialist, you will support a caseload of individuals matching your specialist to help clients achieve their treatment plan goals. This role will provide support and knowledge from your own lived-experiences to adults with severe and persistent mental illness or emotional disturbance with are actively involved in mental health treatment on their path to recovery. Promoting hope, wellness and recovery outcomes for clients and their natural support system. You will engage with clients in their treatment and provide education, support and community resource services to motivate their own recovery process. This position requires a one (1) week on-call (virtual or in-person) rotation every 7-10 weeks.
